Challenging Democrat voting Blacks Americans to be Intellectually Honest about what they are voting for.

Thirty-Four years ago I discovered Rush Limbaugh on AM Radio who lead me off the Democrat Plantation of lies, bondage, and victimhood. His message was simple, self reliance and belief in the American Dream.

Who am I? I am a Black American who votes Republican. If that surprises you, it should not. If you are a Democrat, I challenge you to be intellectually honest about the issues that Democrats and Republicans differ. Ask yourself, “How do these issues affect me personally? How do these issues measure up to my personal morality? Can I really get something for nothing when the government gives me something?” (Getting something “free” from the government means we all pay higher taxes from our paychecks.) Do I believe it is okay to kill babies, especially when women can choose to have protected sex? Are Whites oppressing me, or am I not doing what I need to do to get ahead? Before retiring, I had a very well paying government job with great benefits for my family and me. In the next column, I will share where I came from, and if I could do it, any person of color can.

My humble beginnings was in poverty of a small backwater town at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. My earliest memories was living in “Bakersville.” A poor Black community of block walled houses with outhouses as our toilets. I remember running around snot nosed and barefoot. I have vivid memories of standing in line with my mother to get government cheese and other items. We also received food stamps. My future was working in the textile mills or being a drug dealer and Whites were supposedly the cause of all my problems. The truth was that my family’s poverty was directly the result of my parent’s choices and actions. When they began working and making the right decisions, our lives improved. Such as moving out of Bakersville, getting jobs in the mills, and for my dad, giving up alcohol, getting his bachelor’s degree and working for the government.

Meet the team

Taking up the mantel of Harriet Tubman, I strive to free todays’ enslaved Black Americans from the Democrat slavers of today. Today’s Democrats, just as much as their Southern Democrat ancestors of the 1800s, view Blacks as dim witted and incapable of self-motivation and self-determination.
